Volunteering Opportunities

The North Carolina Chinese Business association is looking for a few good men and women to help us meet our organization’s goals.

• Event Coordinator:

  An Event Coordinator is needed to help organize NCCBA events held approximately bi-monthly. These include speeches by leaders in business and education, social and networking events, hosting visitors from China, etc. Experience with event coordination is desired but not required. We will provide training if needed. Must be professional and business friendly. This position will require about 5 hours of work per month, but may require more initially.
  

• Marketing and Communications Specialist:

  An avid Emailer who can promote NCCBA events through existing PR channels and circles of NCCBA friends is needed to widen our reach for excellent speakers and programs. This volunteer will work closely with the Board and President about 2-10 hours per month.
  

• Social Media Leader:

  If you like Facebook and LinkedIn, you can help post articles and job links on our existing pages. Hours and times of day are flexible, as is social media.
  

• China and Asia News Junkie:

  Help take NCCBA to the next level by researching, tracking, and posting economic news about China and Asia. Once a system of news screening is established, this volunteer role should take no more than 2 hours a week.
  

• Translator:

  Volunteers are needed to translate press releases and articles from English to Chinese. Press releases are done approximately every 2 weeks. Must be fluent in Chinese and English. This position will require about 5 hour of work per month, but may require more initially.
