Durham - The North Carolina Chinese Business Association will hold a seminar on Sector-specific opportunities in China. Free for NCCBA members and open to all guests, the seminar will take place on Tuesday, August 10, 5:30 - 8:00 p.m. at the Hamner Institutes at 6 Davis Drive, in Research Triangle Park. Light dinner and networking are included in the program.
The featured speaker is Eric Wolff, who is currently serving as a Commercial Officer at the U.S. Export Assistance Center in Charlotte, NC. From 2006-2009, Mr. Wolff worked in the American Consulate General in Chengdu, China, where he was responsible for U.S. commercial affairs throughout southwestern China, covering the provinces of Sichuan, Yunnan, Guizhou, the municipality of Chongqing, and the Tibet Autonomous Region. From 2004-2006, Mr. Wolff served as Commercial Officer with the American Embassy in Beijing, China, and provided leadership to CS China?s trade promotion initiative, developing the program from an initial 3 events to 33 annual U.S. Pavilions at China?s top trade shows. Mr. Wolff will share his first-hand knowledge of the rapidly changing Chinese economy and give a broad review of sector-specific opportunities in China, which includes clean energy, environment, healthcare, infrastructure, and more. Come learn about resources and services of the U.S. Foreign Commercial Service as well.
The program will be conducted in English only. On-site regitration for members and guests are accepted, however, pre-registration with an Email to president@nc.cba.org is preferred.
