Seminar
Title: Achieving Excellence In Living And Leading
Dear Friends:
North
Carolina Chinese Business Association (NCCBA: www.nc-cba.org) is proud to organize
and present a seminar: Achieving
Excellence in Living and Leading
Time:
7:00-9:00 pm, Thursday, March 3, 2005
Location:
MCNC Auditorium
All of us want to be successful and achieve excellence. However,
there must be a balance between your life and work. To be successful, you need to be willing to do what works, to be
effective, and to act in your own best interests. Your challenge is to dream
big, reach high, set audacious goals and objectives and work with energy and
enthusiasm towards achieving them. This will require your complete attention, a
financial investment and your total commitment to excellence. Most of us
welcome these challenges. We work longer and harder, but we also feel lack of
fulfillment. We need to balance and face these challenges with a new
perspective, knowledge gained from life experience, and a much deeper
understanding of yourself, significant people around you, your career, and your
business.
On March 3, it
is our pleasure to invite Ms. Rebecca Merrill, President of LifeStructuring
Company, to make a presentation about your life and work to the Chinese
community.
Seminar Title:
Achieving Excellence in Living and Leading
During this interactive seminar,
executive coach Rebecca Merrill will lead you through steps to help you
identify and embody excellence in both your life and your leadership roles at
work, at home or in the community. Using her engaging coaching style,
Rebecca coaches participants to reveal what they already know to be true about
excellence and to renew their intention to live that truth fully in their
personal and professional lives.
Rebecca would like to share her experiences related to the
topic with you and answer any of your questions.
About Speaker:
Ms. Merrill is the President and Founder of The LifeStructuring Company (www.lifestructuring.com/) and
Merrill Leadership, providing life coaching and executive coaching for the past
six years for professionals in the Triangle. She works with company
managers, university professors, lawyers, entrepreneurs, small business owners,
engineers and scientists. Ms. Merrill is an author of
popular book “Living In Yes: Helping Smart People
Make Good Decisions”. In the book, she laid out principles and practical
methods to find out how to listen to your intuition, side-step your ability to
rationalize your way into decisions, and dramatically increase your
decision-making effectiveness. Ms. Merrill is also a
frequent speaker for different business conferences.
Ms. Merrill holds undergraduate
degrees from Wellesley College and graduate degrees from Smith College School
for Social Work and Harvard University.
